For a payment to a bank in Kuwait, a Bank Identification Code (BIC) is required. This is also known as a SWIFT address (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). This is automatically generated based on the IBAN provided.

• An IBAN in Kuwait is mandatory and consists of 30 characters. Do not use spaces, dashes, commas or slashes (/).  Example: KW81 CBKU 0000 0000 0000 1234 5601 01
• Enter the full name of the person receiving the money in the "Recipient Name" field. Do not use abbreviations.

These international transfers are subject to private transfer fees and business transfer fees. If you choose for the OUR option, the beneficiary will not be charged anything by their bank. ABN AMRO charges an OUR fee (PDF, 156 KB) for this.
